  • What is the cost of a complete bathroom remodel?

    The cost of a complete bathroom remodel can be very different from one bathroom to another however you can easily get an estimation of our cost calculator not to include your bathroom suite.

    It is safe to say that the difference in price is caused by a few factors such as: moving the existing position of your suite, adding heating radiators, changing from a bath to a shower or the other way around, tiling all the bathroom area, installing new lights and of course making a bigger bathroom.

  • What is the timeline for the project?

    A bathroom renovation is not a very long process it should not take more than a few days or a week but of course depending on the project if it is a more complex bathroom, remodeling can be a long process but it should not take more than two weeks.

  • Cause for mold in the bathroom?

    Mold is generally caused by poor ventilation in combination with steam in this particular case of bathroom. In case you notice black mold forming on your ceiling or walls you should clean this with bleach, this will not stop mold to come back but until you fix the real problem it should be cleaned to prevent mold related health problems.

    Mold is related often with respiratory problems as asthma. Painting the ceiling with special latex paint will help as well but for a long lasting fix you should check for a few things and fix whatever is not done properly.

    Main things to look at are: the fan is not working properly, the lack of an electric fan, the fan is not used, missing insulation on the bathroom ceiling.
